Foss & Company partnered with Scenic Hudson, Inc., a leading Hudson Valley environmental nonprofit, to redevelop the historic Standard Gage manufacturing site. Once home to precision tool manufacturing until 2002, the five interconnected buildings are being remediated and adaptively reused as a carbon-neutral community hub and office space. The project combines historic preservation with cutting-edge green technology. The buildings are fully solar powered with rooftop and canopy panels and will feature an innovative, low-energy heating and cooling system. Scenic Hudson will use the site for staff offices and as a community gathering space for meetings, classes, and events. The redevelopment reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, cultural preservation, and the revitalization of Poughkeepsie’s Northside neighborhoods. Learn more in our press release.
