Mr. Barry has been active in the tax credit market as a broker and sponsor of tax credit syndications since the Tax Reform Act of 1986. Mr. Barry has been at Foss & Company since 1985 and has raised over $3 billion in federal and state tax credit equity for the development of affordable housing, the rehabilitation of historic structures, the development of coal based synthetic fuel production facilities and photovoltaic and thermal solar production facilities as well as a host of state tax credit programs. Mr. Barry represents a broad cross section of institutional investors from insurance companies, financial institutions, manufacturing and distribution companies and retail and service companies. Mr. Barry currently is the Manager of numerous federal and state tax credit syndicated investment funds. Mr. Barry received a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and a JD from San Francisco Law School in 1983. He is a frequent speaker on the structuring and financing of tax credit transactions at conferences across the country. Mr. Barry has a Series 7, Series 63 and Series 22 securities registration.

Prior to joining Foss & Company in September 2013, Mr. Pettus spent the previous decade in the financial services arena, as a financial advisor, proprietary trader and predominantly as a wholesaler of alternative investment solutions. Keith represents a variety of institutional investors, as a broker of tax credit syndications. Mr. Pettus received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), and holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 55 & 66 Licenses. Keith is an investment advisor representative with Financial West Group, member FINRA/SIPC. Eric Brubaker joined Foss & Company in 2005 and became a shareholder in 2012. He oversees the Acquisitions team and is a member of the Foss Investment Committee. In addition, he is the lead originator for Foss’ state credit funds in Virginia, Ohio, and North Carolina and in the past thirteen years he has sourced over $700 million in tax credits. John joined Foss & Company in June 2014. He focuses primarily on sourcing federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credits for the various Foss Historic Funds or as one off placements to our corporate investors. He practiced law with Balch & Bingham, LLP for ten years. John was a partner in the firm specializing in real estate, bankruptcy, and both general and business litigation. In 1999 John left the practice of law, though he maintains his membership with the Alabama State Bar, to take a position as Vice President with Guilford Capital Corporation. At Guilford, he helped create the Historic Tax Credit division which created historic tax credit investment funds for both Regions Financial Corporation and Fannie Mae. In 2002, John accepted the position of President of the Small Deal Fund L.P. (“SDF”) with Tax Credit Capital, LLC (“TCC”). During his tenure at TCC, John oversaw the development of thirteen (13) tax credit investment funds. John received a B.S. and J.D. from the University of Alabama in 1986 and 1989 respectively. He works out of our Miramar Beach, FL office.
Mr. Beidler joined Foss & Company in October 2016 and has over 18 years of commercial real estate finance and development experience. He focuses on sourcing federal and state historic rehabilitation tax credits along with renewable energy tax credits to our corporate investors. Prior to joining Foss & Company, he was an Acquisitions Manager for the National Trust Community Investment Corporation sourcing Historic and New Markets Tax Credit projects across the country and a Development Manager for Greenfire Development in downtown Durham, North Carolina. In addition, he gained valuable commercial real estate transaction and finance knowledge while working with Cohen Financial and PM Realty Group in Chicago and a commercial appraisal firm in Minneapolis. Mr. Beidler holds a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Regional Planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received a BA in Economics from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota and works out of our Dallas office.
Ms. York has over a decade of experience arranging financing for renewable energy projects, including development capital, construction financing, mezzanine debt, term debt, and tax equity. Prior to joining Foss Renewable Energy Partners, LLC, Laura managed the Capital Markets team at Clean Energy Collective, LLC, a leading community solar developer. Ms. York’s previous experience includes providing financing solutions for energy projects at several lending institutions including US Bank and JP Morgan Chase. Ms. York holds a Master’s of Science degree in Global Energy Management from the University of Colorado.

Alex Tiller is Managing Director of Foss Renewable Energy Partners, LLC, a Tax Equity investment fund and syndication platform for renewable energy projects. Tiller is the former President of Vancouver BC based Solar Alliance Energy, Inc and former CEO of Sunetric, previously Hawaii’s largest solar company. Tiller was a founding partner of Sunetric Capital, Aloha Solar Energy, and Aloha Solar Partners; all three entities operated within the solar project development, financing, and asset management space. Prior to his career in renewables Tiller led the development of a private equity investment fund focused on agriculture and farmland. Mr. Tiller started his career at Fidelity Investments and he currently serves as the Chairman of Kunoa Cattle company, a Hawaiian grass-fed beef company. Tiller earned a bachelor's degree at Northeastern University and his MBA at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management.

Prior to joining Foss & Company in December of 2012, Mr. Mans worked as a CPA with WithumSmith+Brown performing both tax and audit engagements. Mr. Mans holds a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in accounting from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and an MBA from Monmouth University. He is based out of the San Francisco office and currently licensed as a CPA in the state of New Jersey and California.
Tony joined Foss & Company in January 2017. As an Asset Manager, he focuses primarily on managing real estate investments held in our proprietary tax credit equity funds. Prior to joining Foss & Company, Tony worked as an attorney at Google on securities, antitrust, and patent litigation. Prior to that, he had various business and legal roles with technology companies and law firms. Tony received a BA from the University of California at Berkeley and a JD from Santa Clara University. He is based out of our San Francisco office.
Bryen joined Foss & Company in November of 2017. As Real Estate Investment Manager, he manages all aspects of our partnerships’ investments during their life cycle from initial due diligence gathering, quantitative underwriting, closing, management of developer relationships, and investor reporting. Prior to joining Foss & Company, Bryen worked as a commercial loan underwriter and portfolio manager. Bryen graduated with High Honors from University of California at Davis with a BA in Economics. He is based out of our San Francisco office.

Jonathan joined Foss & Company in April of 2018. As Real Estate Investment Manager, he oversees and executes on each stage of our partnership investments, from compiling initial due diligence to closing. Prior to joining Foss & Company, Jonathan held various roles focused on the financing of real estate preservation using Tax Credit Programs at Regions Bank as an Asset Manager and at Redstone Partners, where he held multiple roles, including an Originations Analyst and later an Asset Management Analyst. Jonathan graduated from Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York with a BS in Business Economics. He is based out of our San Francisco office.
