Foss & Company provided tax equity financing for the historic preservation and redevelopment of the State National Bank Building, a 5-story landmark in downtown Brownsville, TX. Once home to the city’s historic bank, the building is being transformed into a mixed-use community asset featuring 40 workforce housing apartments and a local grocery store. This redevelopment addresses critical community needs by expanding access to affordable housing and essential retail services while preserving an important piece of Brownsville’s history.
